Founded in 2004, The Gentry Grooming Co is the brainchild of ex Apprentice contestant Adele Lock. After appearing on the first series  of Lord Sugar’s hit show in 2005, Adele was determined to take The Gentry Grooming Co to the next level and make her mark as a successful entrepreneur in the male grooming industry.

The Essentials Range was born, a luxurious grooming range consisting of seven daily skincare products, including The All Over Wash, The Face Wash, The Face Scrub, The Shave Oil, The Shave Cream, The Face Balm and The Styling Cream.

The range  is over 93% natural, PH balanced , free from  alcohol, parabens and chemical preservatives and contin NMF’s (Natural Moisturising Factors.

I have been trying the range for the last two weeks and I have to say they are a pleasure to use, the pepperey scent from the face wash really wakes me up in the morning ready to fight for my spot on the train. Like alot of men I find that some products far from sooth my skin actually irritate it due to all the chemicals used in the usual big brands, so I love the fact that these products are 93% natural.

Adele said  “Our research proved that men have more delicate skin than women. We also realised that the majority of men believe that shaving irritates their skin and so there was a definite need for products that enhanced the skins natural balance”.

Now while Im sure none of us want to think we are more delicate than women its nice that a company has put some thought into their mens products and what goes into them.

  1. I was given the ‘all over wash’ as a gift from my girlfriend and I have to agree with the above post, it is a pleasure to use. As I’m now getting on in years I have started to take more care of my skin and hair so the fewer chemicals that I use the better for me.
