What is Shaveril?

Mental health charity MIND  want you and all your bearded brethren to dust off that old razor, push your boundaries, and do the unthinkable (for a good cause) – shave off your beard for charity.

Shaveril is simple: during the month of April, just shave your beard. Then post a before and after picture or video to Twitter, Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #shaveril. Then the fun begins. Nominate a friend to either do the same or donate to Mind using the text code or online link. Feel free, of course, to do both.

What else is going on?

To make some noise, on Thursday April 14th, there will be a free pop-up barbers at The Hoxton, Shoreditch. Consumers can head down from 17:00 to have their beards shaved by professional East London barbers. There will also be complimentary food and drinks available.
